CLLD – Cross-Linguistic Linked Data

On September 12, 2014, PHOIBLE Online, the world's largest database of phonological inventories, by Steven Moran, Daniel McCloy and Richard Wright, was published as CLLD database.

As stated in Steven Moran's extended dissertation abstract

the technological infrastructure [provided by PHOIBLE] is conducive to data sharing, extensibility and reproducibility of results

We hope that the publication as CLLD database does its part to fulfill this promise.
